Based in the San Francisco Bay area, Oakley focuses on hand crafting exquisite jewelry and performs all of her own stone setting.

In developing her jewelry fabrication skills Oakley sought out the world’s foremost teachers, studying in London, Antwerp and San Francisco.  Oakley lived in Belgium to study Professional Stone Setting under Alexander Sidorov at the Alexandre School.  She studied the Advanced Micro-setting Master Class with Mister Sidorov at the Goldsmiths’ Centre in London, England.  She is proud to be the first woman from the United States or Canada to have studied Professional Stone Setting with Alexander Sidorov.

Originally from Canada, Oakley's artistic influence stems from her grandfathers, a stone sculptor and couture designer, who both plied art as a trade and validated it as the family’s foundation.  From studying fine arts at university Oakley traveled widely, living and working on three continents.
